After four tries, we gave up and just laid clothes on the other bed and decided that they had a clown working the desk. Twice more, at hourly intervals, we were told that it would take about 5 minutes. When we asked again, about an hour later we were advised that it would take about 5 minutes. When we learned that coat hangars were available on request, we asked for some, and were told that they would be up in about 5 minutes. Everything else about this place is somewhere between bad and terrible. Everyone was friendly and attentive and just seem to be really busy at all times.… I did try to contact room service one evening but either it wasn't being offered or they just didn't answer their phone. Only one restaurant of the three was open and the coffee/snack bar didn't open until 9:00 each morning. I especially loved the fry bread! It is pretty apparent that the facility is suffering from under staffing. I had a couple meals in the bar downstairs and the food was good. As it is a casino, I'm not sure how that can be avoided but, as a nonsmoker, I woke up each morning with a raspy throat even though the rooms are smoke-free. My biggest complaint is the smoky smell that permeates the entire facility. I was on the 4th floor both times I stayed and it was quiet aside from normal hotel noises. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the beds are nice.

There are places where the wallpaper is peeling or paint is scuffed up. The rooms are fine and comfortable but are starting to show their age. There were several of us traveling for work and it took three people over 20 minutes to check in. I don't feel it was a staff issue but rather a very slow computer system.

The front desk staff are friendly but checking in takes a long time. It's not bad but I wouldn't call it high end either. I have stayed in the 12 Tribes Casino Hotel twice in the past month.
